Exposing Product Configurations

You can work with product configurations in an experience.

You must expose product configurations to use them in your scenarios or scripts.

Before you begin: Insert a product with configurations into your experience.

By default, no configuration is applied. The whole product structure with all the available configurations is visible in the 3D area.

  1. In the tree, right-click the product, and select Expose > Expose Product Configuration.
  2. In the Expose Product Configuration panel, select the configurations you want to expose, and click Expose.
    Selected product configurations appear in the tree, under the Configuration node.

    Product configurations that are already exposed are grayed out.

  3. Optional: To remove exposed configurations, do one of the following:
    • In the tree, right-click a configuration and select Delete.
    • In the tree, select a configuration and press Suppr.
    If you delete the applied configuration, the product is no longer configured.
