About the User Feature Synchronization
  1. Instantiate the user feature three times in the destination product.
  2. Modify the user feature reference and select Share > Save > Save with Options.
  3. Switch to the tab containing the instantiated user features.
  4. Click Synchronize All .
The User Feature Synchronization dialog box opens. The External view lines indicate that the external view (parameter, inputs, outputs) was modified.
  5. Click Synchronize All.
User feature instances are now synchronized with their references.

Notes:
  • The external view comparison is based on names and types. If a parameter is unpublished and a different parameter with identical name and type is published, the command does not make out the difference and therefore does not allow synchronization. This is also true for inputs and outputs.
  • You can multi-select instances pressing ctrl and clicking Synchronize.
  • Multi-synchronization is not allowed if:
    • You want to use the Force mode.
    • User features instantiated before V6R2013x do not contain any inversion information.
  • The green light indicates that the synchronization is allowed whereas the red light indicates that the synchronization is not allowed.
  • Click the column headers if you want to sort the columns.
