Saving a Power Copy in a Catalog

You can store a power copy in a catalog for later use.


Before you begin: The product containing the power copy must be open.

When Using catalogs together with power copies, can I select a Product as the instantiation destination?
  1. Select Add > Content.
    The New Content dialog box appears.
  2. In the New Content dialog box, select Catalog.
    The catalog is created.
  3. Click New Chapter and click the catalog in the tree.
    The Catalog Chapter dialog box opens.
  4. Enter the chapter name and click OK.
  5. Click New Chapter and click the catalog in the tree.
    The Catalog Chapter dialog box opens.
  6. Enter the chapter name and click OK.
  7. Click the chapter, click Item: Feature and select the template in the reference product.
    The template is saved in the catalog.
