Kinematics Section

The primary area of the Kinematics section provides commands for defining kinematics and managing mechanisms.

Define Kinematics
Using a Wizard to create a kinematic model from parts in the work area by creating a revolute, prismatic and rigid joint within a mechanism.
See Building a Mechanism.

Mechanism Representation
Create mechanisms defined as representations of products that can be used to perform motion simulations.

Mechanism Manager
This is the primary tool used to set up a mechanism.

Engineering Connection Definition
Creates an engineering connection from a set of constraints between components such as a product, a 3D part or a 3D shape, in which a typed-relation is defined to account for a kinematics relation.
See Working with Engineering Connection in the Assembly Design User Guide .
