Open a Simulation Result
You can open a simulation result from a file or from the database.

From the Simulation section of the action bar, click Open Simulation
Result
.
The Open simulation result dialog box appears.

To open a present simulation result from any tab, open the tab and
click the simulation result.
A new Variable Browser displays the opened simulation result.

To open the simulation result from a file, do the following:
- Click to open the Simulation result file import dialog box.
- Browse to select the convenient .mat or .csv file.
A new Variable Browser displays the opened simulation result. The title contains the name of the opened result and the time and date of the opening.Warning: These results are opened, they are not copied. If you close the Variable Browser, you must reopen the simulation result. -
To open a simulation result from the database, do the following:

The Content Chooser dialog box is displayed.

Use the
Content Chooser to select a simulation result
using the
Search box of the
top bar.

Tip: Enter the name of the simulation result in the Search box and press Enter to search. The wildcard * can be used. For general information about search, see About 3DSearch Queries.

- You can then display plots or replay the 3D animation, as from any Variable Browser.
