Opening a Baseline

You can open a structure in Navigator page based on an existing baseline.

Before you begin:

List the baselines for the design. See Baseline List.

  1. Select a baseline from the list of baselines in the Baselines page.
  2. From the page toolbar, click Actions > Open to open the Navigator page for the selected baseline.
The Navigator page displays the structure that existed when the baseline was created. For details on using Navigator page, see Editing Object Relationships.
    Note: Note the following:
    • When you open a baseline, an expanded baseline structure where the iterations of all objects connected to the baseline are displayed.
    • If the baseline is opened with As-Saved view, an additional column such as Latest Iter is displayed which contains the revision value of latest iteration.
    • When you click Download Structure tab,
      • It displays the root object of the baseline.
      • The title displays the name of the baseline.
      • The Document Iteration tab displays Baseline as the only value.
      • The description column provides the description of the specific iteration of an object.
      • If the baseline is opened with As-Saved view, an additional column such as Latest Iter is displayed which contains the revision value of latest iteration for each row.
