Regulatory Grid

The Regulatory Grid page lists the registration status for the different EC parts in the different countries for a product or the selected products and EC parts.

Required Access Roles:

  • App-specific: Regulatory Lead
  • Baseline: Leader, Contributor

To access this page:

  • Click Home .
  • In the navigation pane, click Market Registration Home Page.
  • In the page, click the Regulatory Grid tab.

Columns

Section Column Name Description
- Name The name of the product, part, and plant. The selected products are expanded with the list of all the connected parts to it using the GBOM assigned part and the top-level pat.
Note: The marketing name, title, and name are displayed for the product, part, and plant respectively.
Higher revision exists Whether the revision is existed or not. If the higher revision is present, the icon is displayed.
Revision The revision number of the product and part.
State The current state of the product, part, and plant in it's lifecycle.
Countries Country Name The list of countries in which the selected product is registered or going to register.
Note: The value of the column shows the according to the different countries in which the selected products are registered or going to register. The below list shows the different values for the row in the column:
  • The row is displayed as blank for the selected product, part, and plant if these are not registered in any country and a market authorization (MA) is not connected to the context product, part.
  • The row is displayed with the value for the status of regulatory registration based on the connected market authorization (MA) with the combination of product, part, or plant and countries if the context product, part, and plant are already registered.
Auto MA Propagation Status and the Status of Regulatory Registration
  • The icon for Auto MA Propagation Status is displayed only for the product and part rows. This icon notifies whether the auto MA propagation is enabled or disabled for the revised product and part.
  • The status of regulatory registration lists the below statuses:
    • In Work: Shows that the MA is in the In Work state with the yellow background color.
    • Authorized: Shows that the MA is in the Authorized state with the green background color.
    • Released: Shows that the MA is in the Released state with the green background color.
    • Withdrawn: Shows the red background color if the date of MA is overdue. Also shows in the orange background color if the date of MA due.
    • Suspended: Shows that the MA is in the Suspended state with the orange background color.
    • Obsolete: Shows that the MA is in the Obsolete state with the red background color.
      Note: Click the Name of status to open the context MA page.
  • The status of regulatory registration also provides the detailed information about the class for a product. The information is about in which classification type, the product is registered in a particular country.
Action Description
Search Products Lets you search and list the products in the Regulatory Grid page.
Note: By default, the products or parts are not listed in the page.

To search, enter the name of a product and click Search. You can also click to search for and select the products from the Search page.

Revisions Lets you select the current revision of the part that is connected with the product or all the revisions of the part.
Countries Filter Lets you open the Countries -Filter page to select the countries. The list shows the countries in which the product is registered or going to be registered for the context regulatory grid. To list the columns only for the selected countries, select the Country Names and click Apply. To reset the previously selected countries, click Reset.
Note: You can also search the required countries using the Search option in the Countries-Filter page.
Registration Summary Lets you open the Registration Summary page of the selected product, which lists the connected market authorizations to the context product.
