About Track Simulation Analysis File Export

The Track Simulation Analysis File Export command exports images and XML files containing information about a Track with related context and moving objects.

The Track Simulation Analysis File Export command is available from the Setup section of the action bar and from the Track Plot Panel panel. This command allows you to download information about a Track.

You can export information for one Track at a time, during:

  • Track authoring
  • Track Simulation
  • Path planning

This page discusses:

Content in Images and XML Files

Images and XML files contain information about context and moving objects at each time period or distance during simulation.

Images

Images are in the PNG format, they contain information about each step of the simulation.

Images provide the following information:

  • 3D visualization of moving and context objects.
  • Minimum distance between moving and context objects involved in the minimum distance.

XML Files

The XML files contains information about Tracks.

In the XML files you can find the followings:

  • Track name
  • Capture time
  • Capture distance
  • Clash status
  • Penetration or minimum distance
  • Moving object name
  • Context object name
  • Image of the context and moving object involved in the minimum distance.

XSL Files

XSL files allow you to customize the appearance of your XML files. For example, you can change the fonts, background color of the document, or content of columns.

There are two XSL files, one for individual Track analysis reports, and one for the Track analysis summary report. You can modify both files to personalize the appearance of your XML files.

Track Analysis Summary Report

The summary report sums up all the individual reports generated for the Track at each step of the simulation.

In the summary report you can find:

  • Capture time
  • Capture distance
  • Clash status
  • Quantifier
  • Moving object name
  • Context object name
  • 3D pictures of moving and context objects involved in the minimum distance at the time of capture

Each image in the description row contain a link to the XML report corresponding to the step.

Depending on the clash status of the moving and context objects, the background color of a row can differ.
