Panel Commands
The panel shows all objects in collision or contact, which are computed and displayed
in the panel's 3D Viewer and consist of the followings:
- Viewing Options
- There are two viewing options for the panel's object list found in the upper-right
corner of the Track Analysis Assistant panel:
-
-
- Track Position Analysis
- Collision or contact computation is completed for all the moving objects at
the current position and all of the 3D context objects. Only the moving
objects and the objects in collision or contact are displayed in the
Track Analysis Assistant. If no interference is
identified for the position of the moving object, the list and the 3D viewer
are empty.
-
- Full Track Analysis
- Collision or contact computation is completed along the full Track between
the moving object and the full 3D context. All of the moving objects and the
objects in collision or contact are displayed in the Track Analysis
Assistant. If no interference is identified for objects along
the Track, then the list and the 3D viewer are empty.
Note:
This option is not
supported for kinematic Tracks, systems, workplans, operations, assembly
sequences, production system excitations, or manufacturing
scenarios.
-
Note:
Specific case of clearance: If the distance between the moving and context objects
is smaller than the specified clearance value, they are also displayed in the
Track Analysis Assistant, whatever the viewing option is.
You can specify the clearance value in two different ways according to the active
command:
- In Track editing or simulation, the clearance is taken into account if it has
been specified in the Dynamic Clash options.
- In the Path Planning command, the clearance is
specified by the "Clearance required" parameter in the global clash limits or
local clash limits.
- Settings
- Starts a panel that allows you to specify a color for objects in clash, contact, and
clearance and to choose whether or not to display the Track names.
- Hidden Objects
- Starts a panel that lists objects hidden either from the panel's list view, the 3D
viewers, or the tree. When the object is shown, it is removed from the list. Any object
hidden outside the scope of the Track Analysis Assistant is not
displayed in the list.
- Export as CGR
- Starts the Export as CGR panel that lists the Product
Reference(s) containing the Track Analysis Assistant content. All
the displayed objects and collision curves in the Track Analysis
Assistant are added to the product with their current graphic properties.
Moving objects and collision curves are added to three separate 3D Shapes. Information
about interferences (such as involved products or interference types) is added in the
description of moving and context 3D Shapes.
- Click Create and open exported Products to create and open the
listed Product Reference(s) in one or several tabs (one tab per product).
Notes:
- This command is only available if the Track Position
Analysis option is selected.
- The tab in which the Product Reference opens is the last-accessed application
with product management functionalities. In this tab, you can manipulate the
created product, add reviews, save, and share it.
- You can define a specific name and typing for the created Product References
with the Customize Resulting Product or Workplan/Operation/System output
or Workplan Publication Creation business logic.
- The naming convention for the exported root product is as follows:
Objects |
File Name |
Track on Operation |
OperationName_TrackName_Index |
Track on Resource |
ResourceName_TrackName_Index |
Excitation Track |
TrackName_Index |
System |
SystemName_Index |
Operation |

Assembly Sequence |
AssemblySequenceName_Index |
Manufacturing Scenario |

- Cross Highlighting Capabilities
- You can select an object in the list view. That object is selected and highlighted in
the main 3D viewer and tree, but not in the panel's 3D viewer.
Note:
Clicking an empty
space removes the highlight from the object in the main 3D viewer, but keep the
object's row highlighted in the panel list. If you select an object in the panel's 3D
viewer, all other instances of the object are highlighted.
