Create the Product Flow

In this step, you will create the product flow. You will also rename the systems and specify the cycle time.

  1. Right-click the root System frame and select Properties.
  2. In the Reference tab of the Properties dialog box, enter an appropriate name and a cycle time of 150sec.
  3. Right-click the first system tile and select Properties.
  4. Enter an appropriate name for the system in the Reference and Instance tabs of the Properties dialog box.
  5. In the same way, enter appropriate names for the other two systems.
  6. From the Authoring section of the action bar, double-click Create a Product Flow .
  7. Select the first system tile, then the second system tile.
    The product flow is created between the two systems. This is symbolized by a blue arrow linking the two system tiles.
  8. In the same way, create a product flow between the second and third systems.
  9. Click Create a Product Flow to deactivate the command.
