Action Bar: View Section

The View section provides commands to visualize objects and customize 3D display.

This page discusses:



Reframe
Focuses the view on the entire model to fit in the viewer and simultaneously maximize the use of the viewer space.


Perspective View
See Flyout for View Display.


Pan
Moves the model's view horizontally and vertically.
Click Pan, then drag in any direction.


Rotate
Turns the model around the vertical axis or around the horizontal axis.
Click Rotate, then drag horizontally or vertically.


Zoom In or Out
Zooms in or out.
Drag up to zoom in, and drag down to zoom out.


Isometric View
See Flyout for Standard Views.


Shading
See Flyout for Shading.


Hide/Show Reference Axis
See Flyout for Hide/Show Reference Axis.


Swap Visible Space
Visible objects are located in Show space, and hidden objects are located in No Show space. .
The status show or hide will be lost when the widget or the browser is refreshed.


Clear View
Removes all root objects from the viewer.

Flyout for View Display



Perspective View
Displays objects in a perspective view.
By default, this view mode is selected.


Parallel view
Displays objects in a parallel view.

Flyout for Standard Views



Isometric View
Applies standard isometric view.


Bottom View
Displays objects in a perspective view.
By default, this view mode is turned on.


Top View
Applies standard top view.


Right View
Applies standard right view.


Left View
Applies standard left view.


Back View
Applies standard back view.


Front View
Applies standard front view.

Flyout for Shading



Shading
Shades the surfaces of the geometry. Displays edges (including hidden and smooth ones), or the materials that have been applied.
By default, this rendering mode is turned on.


Shading with edges
Shades with edges, whether smooth or not.


Shading with edges and without smooth edges
Shades with edges, except the smooth ones.


Shading with edges and hidden edge
Shades with all edges, hidden or not.


Shading with material and edges
Displays the material applied onto the object with edges.


Shading with material
Displays the material applied onto the object.


Wireframe
Displays object's edges and lines only.

Hide/Show Reference Axis
Lets you hide or show the reference axis lines.


Hide/Show Lines
Lets you hide or show the lines.


Hide/Show Points
Lets you hide or show the points.
