The Define Input Parameters dialog box appears when you right-click
Reports from the manikin tree and
select Report Objects/Define Input Parameters (Ergonomic reports
have to be created to activate).
The Define Input Parameters dialog box contains all the explicit parameters
for each type of analysis, organized in tab pages. This enables you to specify the
parameters values for that report. Any parameter value specified replaces the default
parameter value in the analysis dialog box. The dialog box is not modal so that when you
are in simulation mode, you can select activities to get their beginning and end time.
Some values update if they change, for example, the default values and the automatic
values for RULA. In addition,
If an analysis appears in (at least) one selected report when you open the dialog box, the
analysis's corresponding tab or frame creates.
When you select
All Reports, every tab and frame is fully
activated.
When you select a single report, every analysis not presented in the report has its tab
disabled. If the last selected tab is enable, this tab selects, if not, the
first enabled tab it selects. If no tabs show enable (which can be the case with
reports that contain only biomechanics analyses) the first tab selects and the
controls disable. For the load frame, if the current report contains an analysis
that does not need to load (for example, only RULA and biomechanics analyses
need) this disables the frame. If a report has a RULA analysis but no biomechanics analysis,
only the Total magnitude spinner and the Get
Load values enable (since RULA analysis, uses only the total
magnitude).
This dialog box contains controls for:
Current Selection

This shows the current selection's data.
Report ID:
This shows the identifier of the report. If you select
Use Default, uses the defaults.
RULA, Push-Pull, and Carry Analysis Tabs
Each tab contains fields also available in stand-alone dialog
boxes.
