Guideline

This list presents the guidelines available to perform a carry analysis. Snook and Ciriello 1991.

Specifications

  • 1 carry every: Use this field to determine the carrying frequency. Select the arrows to increase or decrease the value indicated in the text field or directly enter a new value using the keyboard.
  • Distance of carry: Use this specification to determine the carrying distance of the objects. Select the arrows to increase or decrease the value indicated in the text field or directly enter a new value using the keyboard.
  • Population sample: Three population percentiles are available: 90th, 75th, and 50th. These percentiles represent the percentage of the population able to perform the task safely. This takes gender into account.

Score

Immediately after the Specification fields complete, the results are displayed in the Score zone.

Score - Maximum Acceptable Weight 186.819N

  • Maximum Acceptable Weight: This defines the weight that the selected population can carry with reasonable safety.
  • Analyzing a position, the Warning box appears. Warning - Hands distance is higher than expected: Maximum vertical distance is 1117.6mm, Current vertical distance is 1318.007mm.

The Warning zone displays the variables. Warning - Invalid duration.
