Using Lift-Lower Analysis

This describes the lift-lower analysis procedure using the lift-lower Analysis dialog box.


Before you begin: For more information, see Ergonomics Analysis Introduction. See Lift-Lower Analysis Dialog Box.
  1. Click Lift-Lower Analysis .
  2. Click Manikin.
    The Lift-Lower Analysis dialog box appears.
    Note: Depending on the Selected Guideline, the dialog box changes accordingly.
  3. Select Initial once you have the manikin in the required first position.
  4. Click Record bar to record this first position.
  5. Select Final, after the manikin has been moved to the second position that is to be analyzed.
  6. Select Record bar.
  7. The Score and Warning are shown in the dialog box.
    Score: Action Limit (AL) 5.4kg, Maximum Permissible Limit (MPL): 16.1kg, Warning The two-handed lifting is not symmetrical in the final posture.
  8. Click Close when completed.
