You can change the referential of a manikin. The referential is the point on the
manikin that remains fixed when a global posture or an anthropometry applies. You
can select the referential that corresponds to the context of work.
For example,
- If the manikin is standing on a flat surface, the floor, and a sitting
posture applies, the feet remain on the ground if selecting
Between feet.
- Designing a car use H-Point.
- Manufacturing line select Between feet.
- Plane cockpit the standard is Eye point.
Before you begin: To see the Referential, activate in the Display command of the
Human Definition section of the
action bar
located at the
H-Point of the manikin, and the manikin is
sitting.

Right-click the
Referential node under the manikin
Settings node.

Click
Properties.

Select
Between Feet.
From the
Referential Tab Dialog Box
list.
Note:
Choosing the color of the manikin referential for each
manikin enables you to differentiate them and to make sure that it does not
blend with the environment.

Click
Apply.

Click
OK.
The referential location has changed between the
manikin's feet.
