Displaying a Machined Area for Rough Turning Operations | ||

This shows Part and
rough stock elements selected for a Rough
Turning Operation (part and rough stock
offset is not applied in this example).
The Machined Area is shown when the
Machined Area Preview,
command is clicked (with no tool assigned to the operation) in
the
Rough Turning dialog box. The closed loop highlighted in
green between the Part and the rough stock element shows the Machined Area or
Material Removal Area.
Note:
The Machined area also depends on the tool. The Machined area
shown above, shows machined area when no tool is assigned (default machined
area).
The Machined area displayed is dynamic for Part and rough stock selection, Limit selection, as well as Tool selection.
