Additional feeds and speeds configuration filtering is available. This filter is based on the feeds & speeds configuration specified for the part operation during setup. Tools with at least one feeds & speeds configuration that correspond to the values specified during setup will be displayed in the search results.

Local Tool Gage: Specifies the value of the tool gage. You can also click Enable/disable edit of local tool gage. When you enable this option, you can edit the values for the local tool gage.

  • If you enable the Display tool at option, the tool assembly is displayed based on the local tool gage value that you specified.
  • The behavior for modification of the local tool gage value is as follows:
    • If the Enable/disable edit of local tool gage option is disabled, then no local gage value is considered and the gage value is obtained from the main resource.
    • If the option is enabled, then, the upper limit for gage value is the Overall length of the tool. If you specify a local tool gage value higher than the overall length of the tool, then value is reset to the overall length.
    • If you specify the local tool gage value lower than the lower limit (overall length - maximum gage of holder), then value is reset to the overall length.
  • Note: This option is only available in the Tool Parameters tab of milling operations panels.
