- From the Programming section, click Manufacturing Program
and select an item in the Activities Process
Tree. A manufacturing program is added in the Activities Process
Tree, after the manufacturing program that contains the selected item. - Double-click a manufacturing program (just created or already existing).
The Manufacturing Program dialog box is displayed. - Optional: Edit the proposed name.
- Optional: Add a comment.
- Optional: If the set up contains multiple motion groups (managed by a Control device in the Robot setup), specify a motion group from the list.
- If the current machine is a multi-slide lathe machine, select a turret from the list.
By default, turrets are assigned as follows: - When unused turrets exist, the first unused turret is assigned to the manufacturing program.
- When no unused turret exists, the first used turret of the machine is assigned to the manufacturing program.
- The first created manufacturing program uses the first turret, subsequent manufacturing programs receive unused turrets, if any, otherwise the first turret.
- A turret is assigned to several Manufacturing
Programs.
- For FBDI, the option None is replaced with the first unused turret, if any, otherwise with the first used turret.
Note:
This rule applies to manufacturing programs existing at, or created after the time of the machine assignment or FBDI.
- Assign tools or tool assemblies to the turret as explained Importing and Mounting Accessories and Adaptors.
- Select NC Code Based Simulation check box to enable it.
- Select … at the right of NC File. Select a NC File
container and files in that container.
- Select an additional NC File type. Select a NC
File container and files.
- Click Display Origin Management Panel.
- Define the work offsets.

Simulate to check the tool path.
