Modifying and Saving Filters

You can create user-defined expressions for filtering parts in the Part List.

Click Play to watch the video:

  1. In the Part List panel, click Edit Filters .
    The filter editing interface appears, and the active filter appears in read-only mode.
    Note: Clicking a Product to save or read activate this in the Preferences widget and then the Filters store under the product.
    Note: This video is based on the user interface in an earlier release, but the concepts described are still valid. The Parts List panel appears, and now you can search using the Show Preferences for the Product Selection dialog box.

  2. Click Modify Filter to edit the current expression.
    The filter authoring controls become active.
  3. Write a filter expression in the box using the provided controls. Attribute, Operator, Value, Add, AND, OR, Clear.
  4. Click Save Modification .
    Saves all modifications for the current filter.
  5. Click Apply a filter .
    Applies the filter to the Part List.
