- Using the Fault Monitor
-
- Define acceptable/conditionally acceptable/non- acceptable Degrees of Freedom (DOFs) in the form of a preferred angle.
- Ability to perform posture analysis based on preferred angle during simulations using fault monitor capabilities.
- Report each fault which corresponds to a time of the simulation when the DOF value exceeds one of the DOF limits fault.
For more information, see Using the Fault Monitor.
Benefits: Run a simulation and identify all the potential issues, using the Fault Monitor. You can review individual issues by navigating through the Fault report, and get a 3D view of each problematic situation. - Using the Motion Basis User Interface
-
- Define motion basis for motion elements in activity panel. When the motion basis is speed, the simulation is done at a specific speed until it finishes; when the motion basis is time, the simulation is completed in a time specified by you
- By default motion basis for motion elements is set as 100% Speed
For more information, see Edit Motion Basis Dialog Box.
Benefits: New user interface provide where user can view all the motion elements in single place and define time/speed for these elements. Can also define time for an activity at the time of authoring. Decomposition of the activity in the same motion elements as in the Gantt chart.
