Using the Energy Expenditure
This describes how to use Energy Expenditure.
- Click Single Task Energy
Expenditure Calculation

- Click a Human task.The Energy Expenditure Automatic Configuration progress monitor appears, then the Energy Expenditure Results window appears.
- Click OK in the Get Activity Warning window.The Information displays: Load(s) picked by the manikin will not be taken into account in Energy Expenditure results if the related Pick activity(ies) is(are) not part of the analyzed Human Task.

Click OK, Close after reviewing the results in Energy
Expenditure.
The Energy Expenditure dialog box appears. It displays the last analyzed action in the Action Input tab and the automatically generated list of all actions in the Action List tab.
The system automatically analyzes each activity under the task and from the data and calculates the correct energy expenditure parameters.
Note: The starting and ending operations automatically enter. These can also change.The From Operation and the To Operation must both belong to the same action list to work.
- Place your cursor in the From Operation field, the field activates and turns blue. Choose the activity from the Action List tab for the starting point of the job you want to analyze.
- Place your cursor in the To Operation field, the field activates and turns blue. Choose the activity from the Action List tab that is the ending point of the job to analyze.

In the Title field name, select the current selection.
We entered the Reaching Engine. Use this title later to identify those activities entered for the parameters.

The Parameters for Energy Expenditure dialog box appears.See Energy Expenditure Dialog box for more information.

Click OK after the parameters are entered.
The Energy Expenditure Results window appears to report the results for the selected task.
Use this report to review the parameters from this command. Any of the parameters can be modified in the Action List tab.
