Authoring Section: Secondary Area

The secondary area of the Authoring section provides commands for automatic line balancing, creating resource links, browsing requirements, creating sourcing links, and starting the sheet editor.



Automatic Line Balancing
Balances systems and operations while respecting structure and time constraints.
Select the initial and target systems.

In the dialog box, select the Optimized Cycle Time or Minimum number of systems option.

Click Generate to balance operations on the subsystems of the target system according to the selected option.

Manage Capable Resources
Manages links between capable resources and systems, operations, and work instructions.
Select a system, operation, or work instruction and create a capable resource link using either a resource in context or a resource reference.

Sheet Editor
Starts the Sheet Editor.
The Sheet Editor lets you view and edit the properties of multiple objects in a spreadsheet view.

Attributes
Allows browsing and modifying object attributes.
Select an object to browse or modify the attributes.


Issue Management
Lets you create and assign issues, and view existing ones directly from the Application.
From the tree or from the 3D view, select an object.
