Importing the Rivet Table in xls Format

In this first step, you will import an xls file containing rivet references and their associated parameters.

Before you begin: The following elements are already defined:
  • Manufacturing cell with a machine and tooling
  • Manufacturing product
  • Instruction set

  1. Right-click the Manufacturing View and select Sort by Manufacturing Fasteners.
  2. From the top bar, select Add > Content.
  3. In the New Content dialog box, from the Types area, select Document > Engineering Document.
  4. In the Select File dialog box, select a rivet table in xls format.

  5. In the Manufacturing View, select a manufacturing product.
  6. From the Drilling Riveting section of the action bar, click Set Rivet Table .
  7. Select the xls document in the Search panel.
    The file is imported. It appears under the manufacturing product in the Manufacturing View.
