Customizing Preferences

You can customize preferences for Powder Bed Fabrication.

  1. From the top bar, select Me > Preferences, and then click the App Preferences tab.
  2. In the left-hand pane, expand Simulation, and then Additive Manufacturing.
  3. Select Powder Bed Fabrication.
  4. In the right-hand pane, expand the section corresponding to the options to be customized.

    Section Description
    General Customize general settings.
    On Opening a New PPR Customize the machine loading options on launch.
    Layout Rules Customize the default layout rules.
    Build Process Rules Customize the default build process rules.
    Scanning Rules Customize the default scanning rules.
    Scan Path Rules Customize the default scan path rules.
    Cost Estimation Rules Customize the default cost estimation rules.
    Generate Documentation Customize the default documentation template.

  5. Specify these options according to your needs.
