3D Simulation Panel Controls

3D Simulation includes controls within the panels so that you can adjust or filter the display of thumbnails.

This page discusses:

Option Controls

Option Controls enable you to organize how your simulation information appears in the 3D Simulation panels. The controls available in the panel depend on what you have previously selected. The default appearance of the Option Controls bar appears below.

See 3D Simulation Panel Option Controls.

ASO Controls

ASO Controls enable you to move up in the tree to select a different ASO. You can also search your ASO history to select an ASO you used previously in the session. These commands are available in the ASO panel.

See ASO for information on how to use the commands below.

Panel Commands

In some cases, you can access commands other than Option Controls from a 3D Simulation panel. Your access to these commands is license-dependent.

Simulation States Commands

Display All Parents States
Allows you to see the states of all parents of the ASO.
Display First Level Parent State
Allows you to see the state of the first level parent of the ASO.
Display Simulated Object's Simulation State
Allows you to see only the ASO's simulation state.
Display First Level Children's Simulation State
Allows you to see the simulation state of the ASO's first-level children.
Display All Children's Simulation State
Allows you to see the simulation state of all the ASO's children.

Behavior Commands

Display Simulated Object's Behavior

Allows you to see only the simulated object's behavior.

Display First Level Children's Behavior

Allows you to see only the behavior of the ASO's first-level children.

Display All Children's Behavior

Allows you to see only the behavior of all the ASO's children.

Show All Tag Groups

See Robotics solution documentation.

3D Simulation Minimized Dialog Boxes

3D Simulation relies on several different dialog boxes to set options for your 3D content, product content, and messages during simulation. Initially, these dialog boxes are minimized as icons, and the icons are docked in the middle of the right edge. Depending on your licenses and what you have selected or set up, you may not see any icons other than Simulation Options.
