Managing Over Crowding Zones

As AGV tracks are on the floor, mobile resources that are moving in the same area may come in contact with an AGV train, leading to a collision. To prevent this, you can manage zones at risk of over crowding.

  1. From the Setup section of the action bar, click Manage Over Crowding Detection Zones .
    The Manage Over Crowding Zones panel displays.

  2. Click Add to define an overcrowding zone.
    The Edit Over Crowding Zone dialog box displays.

  3. Define the required information, and click OK.

    Notes:
    • The overcrowding zone should have an entry decision zone in which the AGV train can stop before entering the overcrowding zone, and an exit decision zone by which it can leave the overcrowding zone.
    • The first in queue resource is given priority to enter the overcrowding zone.

  4. Click Close.
  5. From the Setup section of the action bar, click Manage Collision Zones .
    The Manage Collision Zones panel displays.

  6. Click to create a collision zone.
    The Create Collision Zone panel displays.
  7. Click next to Entry Zones and Exit Zones to select one or more entry and exit zones.

  8. Click OK.
    The collision zone displays in the Manage Collision Zones panel.

  9. Click OK to validate.
