Managing the Obsolescence of Objects

Once you have created a package, an extension type, an instance or an attribute, you cannot delete it because you may have created objects based on these objects. This command lets you set an object to Deprecated if you do not want to use or display it any longer in the native and the web user interfaces. The deprecated object will still be visible in Specialize Data Model and Model Customization so that you can decide to make it visible again. This function is available for packages, extension types, instances and attributes.

Note: Make sure the package has been deployed once before setting it or one of its items to Deprecated. If it has not been deployed, you will not be able to set it to Deprecated.
