Maintaining the System

The duties of the System Administrator are to maintain and troubleshoot the system. The System Administrator should also be the on-site point of contact for all software updates, revisions, and customer support requests.

System Administrators can control certain other settings that affect the system as a whole using the set system command. In addition, password requirements can be set for the entire system and all triggers can be turned off (trigger off) or on (trigger on). For more information, see MQL Command Reference: system Command and User Passwords.
