Creating Three Point Arcs
You can create an arc using three reference points to define the required size and radius.
Before you begin:
Select the
Dimensional Constraints
and the
Geometric constraints
from the
Sketch
section of the
action bar
.

About Arcs
From the
Sketch
section of the
action bar
,
click
Three Point Arc
.
Locate the first arc point.
You can:
Click anywhere in the
work area
.
Use
Tools Palette
which now displays following value boxes:
H
: horizontal
V
: vertical
R
: radius
In the
H
and
V
boxes of the
Tools Palette
, define the coordinates of the start point.
Repeat the operation to define the two other points:
Second Point
End Point
The three point arc result is as shown here:
Tip:
The constraints are assigned to this arc on the condition that:
You activated
Dimensional Constraints
in the
Sketch
section of the
action bar
before starting the scenario.
You entered coordinate values in the boxes (you did not create the
profile
by clicking only).
