Editing Projection/Intersection Marks

You can edit projection or intersection marks by modifying the reference element. You can also edit the use-edge mark obtained by projecting an intersection edge.

Before you begin: Create a pad and project one of its edges onto any plane.

  1. Double-click the yellow line resulted from the projection operation.

Reference Element is displayed in the geometry, indicating the element type you are editing. Additionally, the Projection.x dialog box appears to let you change the element which is used as a reference for this mark.

  2. In the Element to project box, select the arc as the new reference element.

Important: The selection of new reference element can be propagated, and replaced by a semantic edge (intersection edge, tangent intersection edge, or tangent edge), if either Intersection edges activation or Tangent Intersection edges activation is activated in the User Selection Filter (in the App Options panel) before the selection.

In this example, a tangent edge is proposed as new reference element, since Tangent Intersection edges activation is activated before selecting the arc.

  3. Click OK.

The reference mark and position are changed.
