Slides
In slides, you can create markup features and overload product structure attributes.
In slides, you can create the following kinds of markup data:
- Graphic Annotations
- Text Annotations
- Measures
- Sections
- Comparison between two objects
You can overload the following attributes:
- Component Graphical Attributes (color, transparency)
- Position
- Component Hide or Show Status
You can also change the hide or show status set in the Product Structure Editor tree and vice versa. It is kept as an overload in an activated slide or format.
-
When the hide or show status is modified in the Design Validation or in the product structure tree, the following applies:
- If a slide or format is activated in Design Validation, the hide or show modification is saved inside this slide or format.
- If no markup is created, you can save the hide or show modification by creating a markup (which also creates a slide and saves the visibility overloads.)
- Whenever the markup is deactivated, the current slide or format is also deactivated and the hide or show status changes are removed from the slide or format.
-
When a slide is created while its parent markup is deactivated, the hide or show overloads created while the markup was deactivated are automatically saved inside the newly created slide.
