Security Rules

The Security Rules page lists the security rules for a class.

Note: Security rules created by the IP Protection Administrator display for the IP Export Control Administrator. Security rules created by the IP Export Control Administrator display for the IP Protection Administrator.

Required access role: Leader

To access this page:

  1. Open a security class. For more information, see Opening a Security Class.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Security Rules.

Columns

Column Name Description
Name The name of the security rule.
Rule Classification In IP Protection Management, security rules are classified by Organization or Skill.
Expression The defined rule using standard expressions.
Description The description of the security rule.
State The current lifecycle state of the security rule: Inactive, Active, or Archived.
Owner The user who is responsible for the security rule.
Edit Edits the security rule. For more information, see Security Rule Properties.
