Security Rules

The IP Protection Security Rules page lists all the security rules that you own. You can change the filter to display Active or All security rules.

Note: Security rules created by the IP Protection Administrator display for the IP Export Control Administrator. Security rules created by the IP Export Control Administrator display for the IP Protection Administrator.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader

To access this page:

  1. Make sure IP Protection Management is the active app.
  2. In the navigation pane, click IP Protection Security Rules.

Columns

Column Name Description
Name The name of the security rule.
Rule Classification In IP Protection Management, security rules are classified by Organization or Skill.
Expression The defined rule using standard expressions.
Description The description of the security rule.
Related Classes Displays the title of the related class. You can click the hyperlink to open the security class.
State The current lifecycle state of the security rule: Inactive, Active, or Archived.
Owner The user who is responsible for the security rule.
