Creating Export Records

An export record is created from a specific export control exception. The quantity of export occurrences for the export control exception is adjusted based on the quantity entered for the created export record.

Required access role:

  • Baseline: Leader

Before you begin: Make sure IP Export Control Management is the active app.

  1. In the navigation pane, click Export Control Exceptions.
  2. Select the exception name to view the details.

    Note: When creating the exception document, the number of export occurrences is required for the Record Export action to display in the toolbar. The exception must also be in the Active state to enable the Record Export action.

  3. From the Properties tab, click Record Export .
  4. Enter the following information:
    Field Description
    Type Export Record is the type.
    Name Enter a name or select the Autoname check box to automatically name the object.
    Description Enter a detailed description of the export record activity.
    Export Occurrences Enter the number of export occurrences allowed.
    Date of Export Click to select the date of export.
    If the occurrences entered exceed the export occurrence limit, then an error message display and the record export cannot be created.
  5. Click OK.
