Classifying from the Item

Security Officers and other authorized classifiers can classify data. You can classify an item as needed or through specific items or types of items from the context menu of the selected item.

Required access role:

  • Baseline: Author

  1. Right-click the item to be classified.
    If the Add to Security Class action is available, then the item can be classified.
  2. Click Add to Security Class to open the 3DSearch results.
  3. Select security class.
  4. Click OK.

The object is secured by the security class.
