Managing Issues

You can manage issues.

This task shows you how to:

Duplicate an Issue

You can duplicate an existing issue as a shortcut for creating a new issue.

  1. View the list of issues.
  2. Right-click the required issue and select Duplicate.

Reopen an Issue

For a completed issue, you can reopen it in the draft state.

  1. View the list of issues.
  2. Right-click the requiem issue and select Reopen.

Complete an Issue

When all actions required to resolve an issue are complete, you can mark the issue complete and promote it to the Completed state.

  1. View the list of issues.
  2. Right-click the required issue and select Mark as Complete.
  3. Enter a Resolution Statement
    The text entered here overwrites any existing text in that field in the issue Properties.
  4. Click Set as Completed..

Add Change Action Resolved By

You can use Change Actions to allow you to create a change action to add to the resolved by list.

Add 3DMarkup as Attachment

You can add3DMarkup to allow you to create a markup to add to the list of attachments

View Issue Relations

You can view all objects related to an issue. You can also expand the issue in the list of issues, or view the Related Objects and Attachments tabs for an issue.

In the list of issues, right-click the required issue and select Relations.

Delete an Issue

You can only delete issues that you own and that are in the Draft maturity status.

  1. In the list of issues, right-click the required issue and select Delete.
  2. Click Delete to confirm.

Export the List of Issues

You can export selected issues to CSV, PPTX, or ZIP format.

  1. From the list of issues, select all the issues you want to export.
  2. From the toolbar, click > More > Export as and select the export format:

    • Export as CSV
    • Export as PPTX
    • Export as ZIP

    If you export to a ZIP file, the ZIP contains a CSV file with the issue details and all the documents attached to each issue in a separate folder.

Print the List of Issues

You can print the list of issues.

  1. From the list of issues, select all the issues you want to print.
  2. Select More > Print.
    Issue Management opens the print dialog box on your computer.
