3DNotification for Routes and Tasks

Route Management uses 3DNotification to let you know when an event for a route or task has occurred that involves you. You can disable all or any of the notifications, and you can choose to receive emails in addition to or instead of notifications in the Center.

Notifications include links to the route or task. Links open the route or task in in Route Management. When a route sends multiple notifications, the notifications are now separated into individual notifications (instead of grouping in a single notification) to make them easier to read.

On premises only: Your administrator can configure your system so that links for routes and tasks open in Collaboration and Approvals instead of Route Management.

By default, Route Management enables notifications for all events. To customize your notifications, follow these steps:

  1. In the top bar, click .
  2. Click > Settings.
  3. Click Route Management. You can click the top switch to enable or disable all notifications. When enabled, you can disable or enable specific notificatoins.
  4. Enable or disable any notifications.
  5. If you want to receive email messages in addition to notifications in the Center, click Mail.

For more information, see Customizing 3DNotifications.

You only receive assignee notifications if you are explicitly assigned a task; you do not receive notifications if the task is assigned to a role or user group.

On premises only: Your administrator can configure Collaboration and Approvals to send email notifications for route and task events. If so, those notifications are in addition to the notifications from 3DNotification. If you receive duplicate email notifications, you can disable email in the Notification Settings so that you only receive a single email.
