You can use the document editor to create, update, and manage the contents of document maps and topics.

You can manipulate the contents of document maps and topics using the menus, actions, toolbars, and context actions according to the selected item in a map or the location of the cursor in a topic.

Breadcrumb Trail

The breadcrumb trail shows at the bottom of the topic editor and reports the element hierarchy for the cursor location or selected element in the topic. For example, you could see this trail: . Hover the cursor over an element in the trail to see the name of the element type. You can click any element in the trail to select that element in the topic. Revisions

If an object in either the map pane or the topic editor does not use the latest available revision, indicates that you can select a more recent revision.
