Portfolio Version Identity Card

The identity card provides basic information about the portfolio version.

Field Description
Image The image associated with the object. If there is no custom image defined, the placeholder image for portfolio versions is displayed.

Click the image to change it. For more information, see Changing the Image Associated with a Portfolio Version or Sellable Item.

Portfolio version title, revision level, and favorite status The object's title, its revision level, and favorite status.

Click the hyperlinked revision level to create a new revision or branch using the Revisions graph. For more information, see Exploring Revisions, Duplicates and Branches with the Revision Explorer and Creating a Revision. You can only create revisions and branches of portfolio versions.

Click the favorite status icon to change it.

Favorite Status Meaning
The sellable item is in your Favorites list.
The sellable item is not in your Favorites list.

Owner The object's owner.

Click the hyperlinked owner's name to change ownership of the portfolio version. For more information, see Sharing Objects with Other Users.

Type The object's type: Portfolio Version
Creation Date

The date and time when the object was created.

Modification Date

The date and time when the object was last modified. If not modified, this date is the same as the Creation Date.

Projects The name or number of project plans with which the portfolio version is associated. If there is no associated project plan, No Projects defined appears in this column.

Click the message, the name of the project plan, or the number of project plans contributing to open the portfolio version's Project tab in the Information panel. For more information, see Associating Project Plans with Portfolio Versions or Sellable Items.

This field does not appear when you collapse the identity card.

Maturity

The current maturity state of the object.

Click the hyperlinked maturity state to promote it to the next maturity state. Use the context menu to promote or demote to another maturity state, or to open the Maturity Graph.

Description

The description of the object, if defined. If you enter a URL, an email address, or a File Transfer Protocol link, this text is clickable and opens the link.

If there is no description provided, No Description appears in this column. This field does not appear when you collapse the identity card.
