Customizing Members & Roles Preferences

You can modify the Members Control Center widget's preferences or the Members tab of the Platform Management dashboard to customize the way the list of members is displayed.


Before you begin: You can access the widget preferences either by adding it to a dashboard where you are owner or in the widget preview mode.
  1. Open the widget preferences. For more information, see Edit Widgets Preferences.
  2. If you have access to several platforms, in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform list, select a platform.
  3. If you want the picture of the members to be displayed in the member's ID card, select the Display Picture check box.
  4. In the Sort by list, select among First Name, Last Name or email.
  5. In the Sort Direction list, select an ascending A=>Z or descending Z=>A option.
  6. In the Number of results per page list, select a value to limit the number of members and roles to be displayed.

    By default, the value is twenty-five.

  7. Optional: Select the Allow granting roles without granting access to any platform. option.
    Grant Roles Only platforms can then be selected in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform list.
    Note:
    • Selecting such a platform filters the roles list to display only the roles not linked to a platform in the Roles & Options section.
    • Some commands are also filtered. For example, inviting a member to a platform is not available.
    • If the Allow administrators to grant roles without assigning the associated license option has been selected in the Configure Members Options sub-tab , the Assign License and Restrict Usage on this Platform options are not available. For more information, see the Configure Members Invitations section of Platform Management dashboard.

The new preferences are applied.
