Pinning Web Content to a Dashboard

While browsing the web, you can pin web content (web pages, images, media or RSS feeds) using Web Page Reader, Quick Links or Feed Reader.

Before you begin:

  • Add Web Page Reader, Quick Links or Feed Reader to your dashboard.

  • Drag Pin to 3DDashboard to your browser bookmarks bar.
  1. Open the web page of interest.
  2. In your bookmarks bar, click Pin to 3DDashboard.
  3. Filter the content of the web page selecting one of the following:
    • IMAGES: Displays the available images in the current web page. Click either + Quick links with all images to add all the available images or select the images you need to add and click + Quicklinks.
    • MEDIA: Displays the available media in the current web page. Click either + Web Page Reader to add a Web Page Reader widget or + Quick links to add a Quick links widget.
    • LINKS: The Current URL: section identifies the link of the current page, and the RSS Feeds section, the list of feeds. Click either + Quick links, + Web Page Reader or + Feed Reader.
    If you are still logged in, a preview of the selected widget appears. Otherwise you will have to log in again. For more information, see Starting the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
  4. Click .
  5. Optional: In the lists, select a different dashboard, tab, create a tab in another dashboard, or create a new dashboard.
  6. Click Add to add the widget to the current dashboard.

The widget with the selected content is added to your dashboard.
