About Generic Types

To simplify the visual complexity of topology and to avoid the interaction loops between people in charge of architectures in the company, Electrical & Electronics Architecture offers to work on a generic level. Indeed, in a real industrial case, the number of individual wires in an embedded architecture can rise to a high number.

Creating Generic Types

The generic level is based on generic types composed of subconnectors types.

Note: The link technology for this type is the wire.

A generic wire groups several wires in a real and visible connection linking two ports of the model. In a topology, you can connect a generic wire to a generic port whichever the generic type you select.
