Creating Generic Types

You can create a generic type to be used in your topology.

About Generic Types
  1. From the Hardware tab, right-click the Connector Types node and select Create Generic Type .
  2. Enter these details for the new type:

    Box Name Description
    Title

    Enter a title.

    Description

    (Optional) Enter a description.
    Subtechnology (Optional) Enter a technology name.

A generic type is created and appears under the Connector Types node.
