User Interface Description

Embedded Electronics Architecture provides commands for managing hardware architectures, function nets, software architectures, and creating system mappings.

Overview

Embedded Electronics Architecture is composed of the following areas:

Navigation tab
Contains trees depending on the domain.
Lets you select the domain you work on between, Function Net, Software, Hardware, Communications, Systems, and Projects.
Work area
Corresponds to the diagram for graphical editing (except for communication).
List of opened views. You can navigate between views.
Overview of the diagram. Lets you move to the right place in the diagram for huge diagrams.
Action Bar: Corresponds to the commands of the app.


Properties
Lets you visualize the properties of the selected object. If not locked, you can modify the properties of the object.

Properties Page

The properties page shows all the properties concerning the selected element in the tree. You can rename the current object or manage its properties. To access the Properties page, select an element in a tree and click in the right of the app.

Category Description
Main Contains the general properties of the element.
Advanced Contains the advanced properties of the element, if any.
Details Contains the details of the element, if any.
Configuration Contains configuration options. You can insert variant models in this category.
Electrical Contains electrical settings.
