Edition of Predefined Attributes
Predefined attributes set on a branch or a segment are not editable within the app. As a consequence:
- In the Branch Definition and Segment Definiton dialog boxes, and in the Branch Properties panel, parameters retrieved from a definition table are grayed.
- The Detailed Profile Management command is disabled for segments created with predefined attributes.
- The Profile Management command is disabled for route elements if your segments are created with predefined attributes.
The Automatically import profile properties from segment connection point or cavity option, set in Branch section, is ignored for branches and segments created with predefined attributes.
The Diameter and bend radius to its content option, set in Conductor section, is ignored for segments created with predefined attributes. Therefore, the diameter of these segments is not updated.
When using the Manual Routing, Automatic Routing, and Segments Diameter commands, you are notified through a tooltip message that the segments are built with a definition table and that the modification of diameter, bend radius, and profile is not possible.
There is no synchronization between the changes made in the definition table in the Data Setup app and the branch or segment. If you edit the attributes in the definition table, they are not retrieved by the branches or the segments.
