Linking Protective Coverings

You can link two protective coverings for information purposes. A link between two protective coverings indicates that they are handled together.

Note that:

  • To be linked, protective coverings must belong to the same electrical branch geometry.
  • Link information does not impact the branch route nor the covering geometry.

Before you begin: Open an electrical branch geometry with segments covered with protective coverings.

About Protective Coverings
  1. From the Protection section of the action bar, click Green Line .
  2. In the tree, select the two protective coverings you want to link together.

  • In the tree, a Green Line entry appears under the Protection Set node.
  • In the work area, two green lines connecting the ends of the selected protective coverings appear.



Important: You cannot edit a green line.
