Viewing the Extract Results in the 3D

You can use the Simple view of the extract report to enhance the display of the extracted content in the 3D area.

Cross-highlight Objects

You can select one or multiple electrical elements and highlight them both, in the 3D content tab and in the extracted content tab.

  1. Tile the tabs horizontally to get a better viewing of the process.

  2. Select the object to identity.

    Tips:
    • Use the Shift or Ctrl keys to select multiple objects.
    • Use the Select All to select all the objects within the report.

    The selected objects are highlighted in both tabs.
    Notes:
    • If the selected object is located under a non-visible (for example not expanded) node, the first visible parent instead of the selected object is highlighted.
    • Only objects selected in the report panel are taken into account. Objects that are previously selected in other windows are discarded.

Reframe the View

You can center a selected object in the work area.

  1. Right-click the required row and select Reframe on.
    The selected element is centered in the work area.
  2. To zoom out, press and hold down the middle mouse button, then click the left mouse button and drag.
