Using the Report View of the Torsion Analysis Report

You can use the Report view of the Torsion Analysis Report to have an extensive view of the torsion within your model.

  1. In the Torsion Analysis Report panel, select Report.
    A table listing the content impacted by torsion appears.
    Note: If the Report view is displayed after the selection of a section from the Analysis view, the information in the table is filtered according to the selected section.

    The results are displayed in the following columns:

    • Branch: Provides the name of the branch which is under analysis
    • Torsion portion: Provides the number of a torsion portion of the branch which is under analysis
    • Torsion status: Provides the color code corresponding to torsion status of a torsion portion (green, orange, or red)
      Note: For more information, see Torsion Analyzer Color Codes.
    • Torsion value: Provides the relative torsion value of a torsion portion in degree per meter
    • Torsion maximum Value: Provides the maximum critical value for a torsion portion

      Note: This value can be customized using the Torsion Management Business Rule (EHFTorsionManagement_ComputationAngleofCriticalTorsionValue) opening ID.

    • Torsion segment length: Provides the length of the flex segment from a torsion portion
    • Torsion from: Provides the starting component of a flex segment
    • Torsion to: Provides the end component of a flex segment

  2. Filter the information and customize the table display according to your needs.
