Locating Linked Sheet Connector

When you have an off-sheet connector paired with another one, and placed in a different diagram view, you can switch to this view to display the off-sheet connector.

Each sheet connector can be in two different subsystems. Even if the second element is not loaded in session, you can display it.

To illustrate this scenario, net branches are connected to several equipments and placed in two different diagram views. The steps remain the same for cables and wires.

Before you begin: Create two diagram views containing equipments . For more information, see Creating and Managing Net or Net Group Branches.
  1. Double-click the diagram view containing the desired sheet connector.
    The diagram view is activated.

  2. Select the sheet connector.
  3. On the context toolbar, click Switch On Off Sheet .

Note: If the sheet containing the sheet connector is not opened in session, a message appears to ask you if you want to load it. The view is automatically opened and all the logical parents of the view are added to the current session.

The List of Views dialog box appears.

  4. In the List of Sheets dialog box, select the sheet connector representation to be displayed.
The view containing the selected sheet connector opens. The sheet connector is highlighted.
