View Section

The primary area of the View section provides app-specific commands for managing the view display in Electrical Systems Design.

Flyout for Managing the Grid and the 2D or 3D Views



Grid
Displays a grid to position your objects.
Click the command to display or hide the grid.
See Using a Grid.


Grid Snapping
Activates or deactivates the grid snapping.
Move your object in the work area to automatically snap it to the grid.

Geometry
Displays the geometry in 3D.

2D Geometry
Shows or hides the 2D geometry.
By default, the 2D geometry is displayed. Click 2D Geometry to hide the 2D representation.

Display Frame Coordinates
Displays the symbol coordinates.
Once a frame symbol is inserted in the background view, the location of a symbol placed in the diagram view appears.
